Both teams whos number of points have stagnated in the latter part of the season, both find themselves directly beside each other in the table placed 5th and 6th. St Johnstone and Aberdeen have only won 1 of their last 4 games, which for these teams is simply not good enough, and this will be something the managers will be looking to change come Wednesday night.
St johnstone will be the fresher of the two teams, as they had a rest at the weekend due to the two League cup semi-finals taking place. The game is hopefully a promising one, as both teams desperately need a win and will be too close to call.
