Both Kilmarnock and Aberdeen come into this game on the back of a victory albeit Kilmarnock's the more impressive with a 0-3 win away to Hearts. The game is likely to be a close one as both teams are directly beside each other in the table in 6th and 7th place. Previous results between the two clubs this season saw Aberdeen running out 1-3 victors at Rugby Park and Kilmarnock comfortably winning 2-0 in the Granite city.
Kilmarnock are flying high at the moment and will be a difficult opposition for the Dons on Saturday. Kilmarnock have not yet lost in February scoring 8 goals and y conceding 1. Kenny Shiels will be hoping the attention will be focused on his team and not his off the field antics.
Aberdeen will disappointed with the loss of Isaac Osbourne who tore his hamstring against Dundee and faces 6 weeks on the touchline. However the Dons will be boosted by winning their first game of the year last Friday beating Dundee 1-0. Craig Brown will be looking to build on this victory for a push for 2nd place. He will take heart from Aberdeen's last trip to Rugby Park where the men in red and white came back from 1-0 down to win 3-1.
