Aberdeen Appoint McInnes

Nothing is official and confirmed as yet, but according to several sources the Aberdeen board and Derek McInnes were adding the finishing touches to the deal last night.
The confirmation of the job is expected to take place early next week so that they can allow McInnes to come to terms with the deal. Aberdeen approached Derek after they were rejected to talk to Derek Adams by Ross County. Derek McInnes is exoected to bring in Tony Docherty as his number 2.

This is a great deal for the Dons as Derek McInnes fits the bill of a young manager (aged 41) determined to succeed, he also has experience of the championship and SPL so he knows what it takes to win.
