Aberdeen v Motherwell - Preview

You would think that this match is a pivotal moment in Aberdeen's season and could be the decider to whether we make the top six or not. It has turned into a must win game for the Dons and hopefully there will be a good crowd to back them despite their poor recent form.

Aberdeen who have only scored five goals this year will be looking to change that. The last time Motherwell came to Pittodrie it was a 3-3 draw, Aberdeen scoring twice in the last ten minutes to secure a point. This time though they will be looking to go one better and get that all important victory. The return of Ryan Jack has been a bright one as he adds good defensive stability but also an extra threat in attack. A win could see Aberdeen fly up to sixth place so that top six is still possible.

Motherwell are sitting pretty in second spot three points clear of nearest contenders Inverness CT and nine point ahead of Aberdeen at the moment. Motherwell's recent form has been mixed over the past four matches beating Hearts and Celtic, but losing to Ross County and Dundee Utd.

The game promises to be a good one, and hopefully a good spectacle for the Dons fans!
