Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes has already began the process of bolstering the squad after bringing in striker Rhys Murphy in to train with the Dons. The youngster currently plays for Belgian side Telstar, however Murphy will spend a couple of days with Aberdeen to give McInnes and Tony Docherty time to have a closer look at the youngster.
Rhys Murphy is currently 22, and has previously had loan spells at Preston North End and Brentford on loan. He has represented England at U16, U17 and U19 levels before switching allegiance to the Republic of Ireland and went on to represent them at U21 level.
