A Pre-Season Summary

Now that Aberdeen have completed their pre-season we can look back and reflect upon how the Dons fared during their games. What we have to remember also is that the main priority and reason for pre-season matches is to get players back up to match fitness.

Aberdeen won every single one of their pre-season matches except a minor blip against Peterhead when the Dons were beaten 3-2!

Here were Aberdeen's Preseason Results:

Buckie Thistle 0-3 Aberdeen
Huntly 1-4 Aberdeen
UC Dublin 0-4 Aberdeen
Malahide Utd 1-4 Aberdeen
Shelbourne FC 1-2 Aberdeen
Peterhead 3-2 Aberdeen
Aberdeen 2-0 FC Twente

Some decent results their for Aberdeen especially the 2-0 victory over FC Twente. Derek McInnes could call his first pre-season a success and now look to continue that good form and confidence into the first game of the season against Kilmarnock on Saturday 3rd August.
