Aberdeen will be looking to bounce back from their unfortunate defeat last weekend to Celtic. Aberdeen compteted with the champions well until the sending off and even then Hayes and McGinn were causing problems for the Celtic back line.
Hearts on the other hand manage to scrape a point at Firhill against Partick Thistle. Hearts' woeful first half performance really should of seen Partick Thistle three or four goals up but Hearts held on to secure, scored and secured a point.
Hearts will be without Ryan Stevenson as he is out with a long-term knee injury, he picked up the injury against Hibernian a fortnight ago. Also teenager Dale Carrick is a doubt for the 3pm kick off on Saturday.
Aberdeen will be missing Barry Robson and Chris Clark both due to long term injuries. Robson' is not as bad as first expected and should be back in a couple of weeks. Good news for Aberdeen is that Considine is edging back to a return following his leg break against Dundee last season.
There is still a good buzz and atmosphere around Pittodrie despite the defeat last weeks and Niall McGinn insits that the players are still full of confidence after winning their opening two games of the season.
