Aberdeen midfielder is bursting a gut to try and get back fit for next weekends Premiership clash against Partick Thistle. Barry Robson had a minor operation to his knee just to fix and tweak a few things and since then has been working around the clock to get back fighting fit.
Robson has only played a single game for the Dons and that was on the opening day of the season against Kilmarnock. It will be great for the midfielder and Aberdeen to get him back in th squad as Robson was very influential player during the victory over Kilmarnock.
He is back running and is set to return to training this week. Derek McInnes said that there has been no set backs during his recovery period and the situation is a lot further down the line than they expected it to be at this stage.
Considine has also returned to the field as he started against Viking FK midweek where the Dons retained the Energy Cities Challenge Cup. Chris Clark however still faces another six week on the touchline due to ligament damage.
