Aberdeen Draw Dumbarton

Aberdeen have been drawn at home to Dumbarton in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup. The home draw will please the club and manager McInnes as we have only had one home tie all season in the cup competitions, and that came against Alloa Athletic in the first round of the League Cup. Bringing a team up to Pittodrie will be eagerly anticipated by the punters and the players who finally have a home tie to attempt to get through into the semi-finals of the cup.

However progressing will be a tough challenge for the Dons as Ian Murray's Dumbarton are rejuvenated under their manager and are going strong in the Championship sitting fifth but only eight points off second.

The other draws:
Stranraer/Inverness v Dundee United, Rangers v Albion Rovers and Raith Rovers v St Johnstone
