This morning Aberdeen revealed their strip for next season and the sponsor that will be accompanying it. The 2014-15 season kit is simple but smart with the badge transforming back into the retro badge of minus the two stars. Certainly the white has been toned down in comparison to last year with the collar area now predominantly red. In my own opinion it is a basic design yet it is still unmistakably Aberdeen.

Also Aberdeen revealed that Saltire Energy will replace Team Recruitment as the clubs new sponsor for next season and for the foreseeable future. The Saltire Energy group have been involved with AFC for a number of years now in reference to the company supporting the youth teams in the Aberdeen youth set up. Saltire Energy group are currently a leading supplier of state of the art equipment to the oil and gas industry around the world. The deal between Saltire energy and Aberdeen is reportedly to be worth a seven figure sum. Now it's all about waiting to see the Dons in action in their new strip!
