Scott Wright has put pen to paper and has signed a three year contract extension which will see him at the club until the summer of 2017. The winger made his first team debut when coming on against Daugava Riga during the home leg in front of just over 14,000 Dons fans. On that experience he tweeted " WOW!! What a feeling that was!! Will be difficult to top that!!".
Wright, who is still only 16 years-old is definitely one for the future and has already impressed during the U17's Euro Championships with Scotland. Now with a three year deal under his belt he can attempt to try and wriggle his way into the first team as a regular.
It's great to see players from our youth system getting the vote of confidence from the man at the helm. Derek McInnes has certainly put his trust in young players over the last year with Jack, Low, Smith and now McManus occupying regular places in the starting eleven.
