Aberdeen v St Mirren preview

Aberdeen are the side exremely low in confidence coming into the game,  as in the last week they have dropped 5 points in the league and have crashed out of the Scottish cup in a 1-0 defeat to Hibernian. Aberdeen will be looking to win this game, so they can start a push for second place, the only thing left we have to play for! Aberdeen should also gain confidence that Anderson is commited to the club after signing a new 1 year deal with Aberdeen.

On the other side of the coin you have St Mirren who have just reached the final of the league cup after a fantastic 3-2 win over Celtic and are still going strong in the Scottish Cup. They have been boosted by the arrival of Portuguese striker Goncalves, who has already bagged 4 goals for the club.

The game should be a close one as the Dons will be giving it their all trying to get their first win of the calendar year, whilst St Mirren will be looking to extend their good run of form recently. Also the pitch may be heavy after Scotland playing out a 1-0 victory over Estonia on it midweek.
