"Lets Put Fire Back Into Dons" says McInnes

After coming in to Pittodrie on Monday Derek McInnes has been a busy man, speaking to players and media, working out his plan for next season and settling down in Aberdeen.

 McInnes told RedTV that he wanted to put the fighting spirit back into the Dons and he wanted the city to fall in love with their team once again as they did back in the 80s. He also said that he wanted to put the fire back into an Aberdeen side that has not shown enough of it over the last couple of years. McInnes wanted to make Pittodrie a fortress once again and to make the 90 minutes hell for the opposing side. The new manager has also already been on the phone to his contacts checking the availabilty of players at this current time. So far he is showing the determination in his attributes that the Aberdeen board wanted, and long may that continue.
