McGinn Nominated For PFA Player Of The Year

Niall McGinn has been nominated for the PFA player of the year award for the 2012/13 season. He has been nominated along with Stuart Armstrong (Dundee Utd), Leigh Griffiths (Hibernian), Michael Higdon (Motherwell) and Andrew Shinnie (Inverness).

The voting for the PFA player of the year awards 2013 has now closed. Players from all divisions in Scotland have cast their votes and it is now down to a final five players.

The winners will be announced and then presented their awards at a star-studded dinner at the Glasgow Hilton on May the 5th.

If Niall McGinn wins the player of the year award he will become the 5th Aberdeen player to do so. Past Winners of the award: Mark McGhee(1980-81), Willie Miiller(1983-84), Theo Snelders(1988-89) and Jim Bett(1989-90).
