Buckie Thistle v Aberdeen Information

The Aberdeen team are set to play their first pre-season match next tuesday against Buckie  Thistle at Victoria Park (KO - 7:45pm). The match is taking place so that Buckie Thistle can pay their respects to their long serving goalkeeper Kevin Main, who is actually a Dons fan himself.

Main joined Thistle in 2003 from Lossiemouth and since then has gained legendary status at the club and is now a role model for all players at that level. Kevin Main, last season marked his 350th appearance for the club club against Inverurie Locos at Harlaw Park. During his time at the Jags Main has won a host of awards and has kept a total of 122 clean sheets.

Aberdeen are expected to field a strong side and many of McInnes' new signings will feature including Robson, Flood and Zola.

Information For Dons Fans 

For Aberdeen fans living in the area tickets can be bought for £10 (adults) and £5 (concessions) at Slater Sports in Buckie, Lossiemouth FC social club and Hopeman Golf Club as well as the Harbour Inn and Commercial Hotel in Burghead.
Fans travelling from Aberdeen will be able to pay at the gates (again prices at £10 and £5) on the night but as this is a Highland League ground there are a limited amount of turnstiles so as ever we would recommend you try and get there as early as possible to avoid queuing.
There is parking available on the side streets around the ground and a special programme is available for £2.
