Today Derek McInnes has piled praise on McGinn as the striker is still in top form even if it is aginst opponents of lesser ability. McGinn is pivotal player for the Dons and is a potential game changer, an has showed this over the course of last season and more recently the games against Buckie Thistle, Huntly and UC Dublin.
Niall McGinn has now scored five times in three games during pre-season. Last night McGinn slotted away a superb volley to help Aberdeen beat UC Dublin 0-4. Derek McInnes has said the strikers form has all but gauranteed him a starting place in the team against Kilmarnock on the opening day of the season.
McGinn will be looking to have another terriffic season just like his last. Scoring a massive 20 goals in just 34 appearances for the club is n outstanding achievement for him. McGinn said he is enjoying his time at Aberdeen and really hopes that h can help them win something this year.
