Aberdeen and St Johnstone played out a goalless draw at
Pittodrie this afternoon. The home side dominated for long spells and had by
far the best chances of the game but all too often they found Steve Banks in
fine form in the Saints goal. The Dons best chances came when McGinn hit the
cross bar, Magennis curled a shot wide and headed into the side netting and
Banks had to make a good save to deny Cammy Smith from long range. Saints had
one good chance in the match when Murray Davidson hit an effort over the bar
but neither side could make the breakthrough.
