Aberdeen will be looking to get their league form back on track against the Saints tomorrow afternoon. Aberdeen have now suffered two defeats in a row to Celtic and Hearts, but will definitely be looking to rectify this. Despite the poor form the Dons still sit 4th in the table with 6 points. Better to win two and lose two rather than draw all four opening games. St Johnstone have also had a promising start to the season, they sit above Aberdeen by one place and one point. St Johnstone after handing out a 4-0 match to Ross County received one of their own thrashings last week when they were beating convincingly by Dundee Utd 4-0 last week.
Aberdeen have the same story hanging over them as it seems to every season, a heap of injury problems have hit the Dons leaving them without a midfield for Saturday. Will Flood will be out for 6 weeks with a hamstring injury while Hyes was stretchered off against Alloa midweek and is a major doubt for the match. Josh Magennis and Barry Robson are on the verge of returning as well but currently remained sidelined. Chris Clark is still recovering from his ankle injury he suffered last season.
Derek McInnes has made a plea to the fans today and asked them to get behind the team on Saturday despite the previous two results. He insists that Aberdeen are better than they have showed over the last two weeks and is looking to convert most the chances they get into goals.
