Hearts assistant manager Billy Brown left the technical area and entered the away one after Hearts scored. He then almost went on to taunt the Aberdeen bench right in Derek McInnes' face. In reaction to Brown's appalling behaviour McInnes shoved the Hearts man away from the Dons dugout.
McInnes was sent off just before the end of the game but still commented on the incident after - “I have never seen a member of staff come into the opposition's technical area to celebrate a goal the way he did.
"But as soon as I put my arms on him to try and push
him back, I am guilty."
Derek McInnes has until Monday to respond to the charges which could see him away from the touchline for a period of time.
The Dons manager will have a hearing at Hampden on Thursday September 12.
