Dons Will Bounce Back

Aberdeen suffered their first defeat of the season and first defeat under Derek McInnes on Saturday as they went 0-2 down to Celtic at Pittodrie. The turning point was when Langfield was sent of and the resulting penalty was converted. It was always an uphill struggle from there on in.

Derek McInnes however believes that his Aberdeen side is full of character, mental toughness and ill bounce back from the defeat when they travel to Edinburgh on Saturday. The Dons manager hopes that Hearts will bear the brunt of the frustration due to not beating Celtic.

Aberdeen are certainly not being dis-heartened by the loss as at the end of the day it was only 3 points and the boss knows Aberdeen played good fluid football throughout the match. That alone will be the key to opening up defences and winning games in the SPFL, so we urge fans not to believe it is the same old story and stick with the fans as there is still a feel good factor about the way Aberdeen are playing football a
t the moment.
