As the referendum debate hots up in Scotland and as questions are being fired about left, right and centre everybody has forgotten about the only important question this weekend. Will Aberdeen beat Celtic?
It is a question many would simply dismiss in years gone by, but now with the Champions with one point from six and Aberdeen performing well last week against Thistle it is shaping up to be an intriguing encounter.
There is some bad news for Aberdeen coming into this game though. Clark Robertson who had manage to fight his way back from injury has only managed to go and tear his thigh muscle whilst playing with the Scotland U21's midweek. Anderson is still sidelined with a knee problem, whilst Hayes is expected to shake off a slight knock.
The unseen man Jeffrey Monakana who is stell yet to play a single minute for Aberdeen is back in training after a back injury he had been suffering. Expect to see him take to the stage soon.
The Aberdeen fans making the early trip down to Glasgow tomorrow morning will be hoping for a repeat of last season's scottish cup tie at Parkhead. Even when the Dons were downed 5-2 the scorline does not tell the story and we pushed Celtic for the majority of the match giving them a run for their money.
Considering they have not won in two games now we are playing them when they are most vulnerable, so we need to make sure we take advantage even if the game is at Celtic Park.
