Pawlett Handed Notice Of Complaint

Today (7th May) Aberdeen FC were contacted by the SFA compliance offer and issued a complaint against Peter Pawlett. Peter Pawlett has been retrospectively banned by the SFA for apparently breaking rule 202 - "Causing a match official to make an incorrect decision by the act of simulation". Pawlett has until the 9th May to respond to the notice until he will be banned for two matches for diving. The reason he has been given this is due to his alledged dive to win a penalty for the Dons to draw level with Dundee and ultimately relegating them.

The penalty seems harsh as, yes he was a bit dramatic going down but there definitely was contact there by the Dundee player.
