Aberdeen bringing in a new manager seems to be doing the trick for the team at the moment, as since coming in at the beginning of the post split fixtures he has not lot a single game. Derek McInnes has strenghtened the squad a great deal during the summer by bringing in some super signings. Whilst doing so, the manager has removed some of the players of poorer quality.
Miller Said:
"Aberdeen are better equipped to deal with the current season than others. They’re in a decent position financially, there’s no pressure on them like at other clubs.
"You just have to look at what is happening at Hearts. Clubs in Scotland are struggling but it’s not too bad at Pittodrie.
"Yes, there is debt, but it’s being managed and the
club is not in danger. They’ve invested wisely in the youth system which is
paying dividends.
“Willo Flood and Barry Robson are players who would have
gone elsewhere in the past because Aberdeen couldn’t afford them.
“Derek has made a number of key signings, kept most of the
squad from last year and he has some good young players coming through. All of
the ingredients are there."
