Aberdeen suffered several injuries during the match against Alloa on Tuesday evening. Willo Flood was substituted immediately after pulling his hamstring while Hayes was stretchered off with suspected concussion.
Hays was kept in hospital overnight for precaution and then released in the morning. Willo Flood's injury is not as bad as first thought and is expected to be out for only a couple of weeks. Flood is getting a scan today.
Josh Magennis was also left out of the squad on Tuesday as he had picked up a shoulder injury against Hearts. He is a major doubt for the match versus St Johnstone on Saturday.
