Both Johnny Hayes and Niall McGinn are trying to be back fit for the game on Saturday against Inverness CT. Niall was left out of the squad for the Partick Thistle match where Aberdeen triumphed by three goals to nil. Scans had shown that McGinn had severe bruising on his ankle after the knock he picked up whilst on International duty with Northern Ireland.
Hayes on the other hand recovered from Concussion to feature against the Jags however picked up a late injury deep into the game. The winger managed to play on and seemed to be able to run it off, and should almost definitely be fit for Saturday. Hayes will be desperate to start and play well against his old team when they come down from Inverness for a visit to Pittodrie.
