League Cup Semi Final Ticket News

Today the ticketing process has been completed for Aberdeen's League cup semi final tie against St Johnstone. Remember the game is being played at Tynecastle on Saturday 1st February 2014 with a 3pm kick off.

Aberdeen have been negotiating the ticket allocation for supporters, and the Red Army have been allocated 10,700 tickets so far. This figure represents over 75% of the ticket allocation, however more tickets will be given to Aberdeen depending upon the St Johnstone support. We will be in the Wheatfield Stand, Gorgie stand and the initial allocation in the main stand.

To secure your ticket there is a set priority list. The tickets will first go on sale to Black and Gold season ticket holders on Monday 2nd December from 9am. Each Black and Gold member will be allowed to buy two match tickets.

Sales to Season Ticket Holders and shareholders will commence from 9am on Tuesday 3^rd December with each person entitled to one match ticket.*

All supporters who have pledged their belief in the team for the second half of the season and purchased a Mid Season Ticket will be able to secure a match ticket for the Semi Final from 9am on Monday 9th December.

These top priority groups will have until close of business on Monday 16^th December to secure their seat and guarantee a match ticket.

Thereafter a ballot will take place to distribute the remaining match tickets. In order to qualify for the ballot supporters MUST have attended at least 3 home matches at Pittodrie this season. The ballot will be drawn in early January with all those successful notified week commencing 10^th January 2014. You must have a booking history for at least 3 matches to qualify.

With three home matches in December as we welcome St Mirren on Saturday 14^th December, Motherwell on Boxing Day and Ross County on Sunday 29^th December there is still time for supporters to enhance their buying history and secure a place in the ballot. Tickets for these three matches are now on sale. Please note, you must purchase your tickets for these matches in advance from the Ticket Office in order to complete you buying history.

A small allocation of tickets will also be balloted amongst supporters who attended our away matches in previous round of the cup competition, at Falkirk and Motherwell. To qualify for this ballot you must have purchased your ticket in advance from the Pittodrie Ticket Office.

*Please note, a U12 Season Ticket only qualifies for an U12 match ticket and cannot be used to redeem an adult match ticket.
