Transfer Update

On going talks surrounding the club this week have been making the granite city an interesting place to be. However it has been revealed today that life long servant of the club Chris Clark has left Pittodrie. The 33 year old's contract has been terminated by the club seeing the player leave and continue his career elsewhere. Having now fully recovered from the horrific injury suffered in pre-season Clark never manged to force his way into the starting eleven, but now fully fit can look for a new club.

Also the other piece of interesting news, debatable whether it is a good or bad move from McInnes, is that Josh Magennis has signed for St Mirren on loan until the end of the season. With a long waiting list of strikers and with Adam Rooney just arriving at the Dons, Magennis has been loaned out so he can regularly play football and show Aberdeen what he still has to offer. McInnes told the striker the door is far from closed but he just needs to be given a chance to show what he can do week in week out, a chance he is currently not getting at Aberdeen. Manager Derek McInnes will be monitoring the progress of Magennis at the Buddies.
